The IR Infrared Obstacle Avoidance Module Sensor, featuring 3 pins, is an ideal choice for use with Arduino or Micro:bits platforms.

Comprising a pair of infrared transmitting and receiving sensors, this module emits infrared signals at a specific frequency. Upon encountering an obstacle within the path of the emitted infrared light, the obstacle reflects it back. Consequently, when the sensor identifies an obstacle, it activates the LED indicator, simultaneously generating a low-level output signal at the OUT pin. Capable of detecting objects within a range of 2 to 30cm, the sensor offers flexibility through an adjustable potentiometer, allowing users to modify the detection distance to their preference.
